Join Us For Our 20th Anniversary
May 2008 marked the 20th anniversary of the founding of Helping Hands of Ennis. Reaching such a milestone calls for a time of celebration and reflection. It is with great pride that we look back over our first twenty years and see just how much we have been able to achieve. We owe our very existence to a group of forward thinking volunteers who responded to a need in our community for an organization that could aid families and individuals in times of crisis. What started as small acts of kindness in 1988 has grown into an agency that was able to assist over 2,500 individuals last year alone.
As we reflect on the growth of our agency and the thousands of people we have been able to help over the past 20 years, we are well aware that our success is due to the generosity of our many donors and volunteers. So rather than celebrate our agency we want to celebrate a community that has chosen to reach out and lend a hand to those in need.
The Board of Directors and employees of Helping Hands invite you to drop by for a visit during this year of celebration. We would love to show you our agency and make you aware of the various services we offer to those in crisis. While you are there, why not ask about our various volunteer opportunities? We could always use an extra set of helping hands!
